ReliefLink is an innovative free app developed specifically for suicide prevention and improving mental health, providing confidential and supportive assistance on-the-go.

ReliefLink allows you to create a personalized profile containing essential details like your mental health professional’s contact information, insurance coverage, and current medications. Keep track of your mood and thoughts daily, develop a safety plan, set reminders for appointments and medications, and explore unique coping techniques including voice-recorded mindfulness exercises and soothing music.

If you need to locate mental health services near you, especially during a crisis, the Map Locator feature helps you find the nearest hospitals or other treatment facilities. Additionally, access therapist and support group resources easily.

For immediate options like calling 911, helplines, or connecting with a counselor, use the Emergency button.

The ReliefLink App was initially created for the SAMHSA Suicide Prevention: Continuity of Care and Follow-Up Mobile App Challenge in August 2013. Winning the 1st place in September 2013, the app was even presented at The White House.

This app serves as a supplementary tool to aid users in managing daily mental health, monitoring suicidal thoughts and feelings, and providing resources for seeking help. It is not a substitute for professional mental health or medical assistance.
